In particular, this involves the design of a new safe, sustainable and integrated transport system, Advanced Air Mobility (AAM), with the intention of bringing it also within urban centres, covering intra-city routes through Urban Air Mobility (UAM).<\/p>\n<p>The company studies, designs, builds and manages the infrastructures &#8211; also known as vertiports &#8211; that are indispensable to allow electric <strong>eVTOL<\/strong> vertical take-off aircraft to connect airports with population centres and facilitate intra-city mobility, helping to decongest traffic in urban centres.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/HwUWgv0wgL8\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Designing vertiports<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>UrbanV can count on the industrial partnership activated in 2020 with\u00a0<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.volocopter.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span>Volocopter<\/span><\/a>, the first company in the world to develop and operate eVTOL aircraft for the transport of passengers and goods within urban areas, with high first-mover potential for the relevant certifications.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, these urban areas already offer high market potential at start-up, as destinations of worldwide interest, as well as presenting particularly suitable elements for the early development of this form of mobility, such as flat or coastal geomorphologies and favourable weather conditions, which increase the operability of eVTOL aircraft.<\/p>\n<p>Incide Engineering has been working with UrbanV for more than 2 years on the design and conception of the Vertiporti in the city of Rome and the functional hubs of Fiumicino and Ciampino.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, it has also designed the 2 vertiports that have been included in the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.incide.it\/en\/vertiports-the-new-hubs-for-air-mobility\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">development programme<\/a><\/strong> of the Marco Polo Airport in Venice.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/zmQHRnunvk4\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">An international collaboration<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>UrbanV &amp;
