{"id":15572,"date":"2025-09-29T00:32:50","date_gmt":"2025-09-28T22:32:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.incide.it\/gara-restauro-scuola-pitteri-gorizia\/"},"modified":"2025-12-22T10:41:10","modified_gmt":"2025-12-22T09:41:10","slug":"tender-restoration-school-pitteri-gorizia-italy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.incide.it\/en\/tender-restoration-school-pitteri-gorizia-italy\/","title":{"rendered":"Tender awarded for the restoration of the Riccardo Pitteri School in Gorizia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As principal in temporary joint venture\u00a0with the Perugia-based company SAB, Incide has been awarded the contract by the Italian Ministry of Justice \u2013 Department of Prison Administration for the<strong> restoration and conservation<\/strong> of the former \u201cRiccardo Pitteri\u201d school in Gorizia.<br \/>\nThe project covers a total area of approximately <strong>2,595 square metres<\/strong> and involves an <strong>investment of \u20ac7.46 million<\/strong> for the works, with <strong>\u20ac941,000 earmarked for engineering and architectural services<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The assignment entrusted to RTP includes the <strong>drafting of the technical-economic feasibility study<\/strong>, the <strong>executive project and, optionally, the supervision of works and safety coordination<\/strong> during the execution phase.<\/p>\n<p>The building, declared a <strong>cultural heritage<\/strong> site in 2006, is located in the urban centre of Gorizia and has three floors above ground, an attic and a basement. The property and the large tree-lined area with parking will be redeveloped to <strong>house administrative, management and accommodation functions<\/strong> in support of the adjacent prison.<br \/>\nThis operation will increase the internal space available for <strong>treatment and detention functions<\/strong>, optimising the overall management of activities.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1615\" data-end=\"1637\">The interventions planned for a project of historical and functional value<\/h2>\n<p>The project involves a series of works aimed at <strong>ensuring safety, functionality and sustainability<\/strong>, while respecting the historical value of the building:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Structural and anti-seismic interventions<\/strong>: consolidation of walls, floors and roofs, replacement of wooden floors, reinforcement of the internal staircase and wall joints.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Conservative restoration<\/strong>: restoration of valuable architectural elements, friezes and historic doors, refurbishment of flooring, new reversible partitions.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Systems and technologies<\/strong>: new electrical, plumbing, fire prevention, air conditioning, data network and video surveillance systems, installation of an internal lift.<\/li>\n<li><strong>External works<\/strong>: reorganisation of car parks, green areas and fences, lighting and irrigation, building and plant connections with the nearby prison.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Everything will be developed in accordance with the Minimum Environmental Criteria (CAM), with particular attention to energy efficiency and the integration of renewable sources.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to its multidisciplinary experience and integrated approach in the fields of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.incide.it\/en\/structural-engineering\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">structural engineering<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.incide.it\/en\/electrical-and-mechanical-engineering\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">plant engineering<\/a> and <strong>environmental sustainability<\/strong>, Incide Engineering will offer strategic support in the enhancement of a historic building that will become an integral part of the city&#8217;s prison system.<\/p>\n<p>This assignment confirms Incide&#8217;s ability to operate in <strong>complex contexts<\/strong>, combining<strong> conservative restoration<\/strong>, <strong>cultural heritage protection<\/strong>, <strong>technological innovation and
