The project for the new Villa Ferro School Complex in Fidenza<\/a> is one of the most significant examples of urban regeneration funded by the PNRR, transforming a dilapidated building into a school of architectural excellence: beautiful, functional, environmentally sustainable and energy-efficient thanks to green building practices.
\nThe result of a collaboration between Vittorio Grassi Architects and Incide<\/a>, which was responsible for structural design, services engineering, construction management, fire safety and security, the building stands as a model of innovation for the future of public construction.<\/div>\n

The project stands out for its holistic approach to sustainability, incorporating solutions such as photovoltaic panels<\/strong>, an extensive green roof<\/strong> and rainwater harvesting systems<\/strong> to irrigate the large surrounding park. Every detail has been designed with the students\u2019 well-being and operational efficiency in mind: from the permeable concrete paths to the preservation of existing trees via a dedicated water retention basin.<\/div>\n

Inside, the building offers bright spaces thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows and skylights<\/strong>, ensuring maximum thermal and acoustic comfort<\/strong> through underfloor heating and high-performance glazing. The project is complemented by high-quality communal areas, such as an internal garden, a library, a canteen serving locally sourced meals, and a CONI-approved sports hall for Serie D, confirming Incide\u2019s commitment to delivering facilities that serve as genuine community hubs.<\/div>\n
