Start of work on the new Luni base simulator building (La Spezia, IT)
Work has begun at the Luni-Sarzana (SP) base of the Italian Navy on the construction of a new building designed by Incide Engineering to house the "Full Flight Simulator" of the NH90 helicopter.
The design of the new building follows the previous services provided by Incide for the design of a new EH-101 simulator building, the restoration of a 1000sqm maintenance warehouse and a building called ex Ci.Mar.
The multi-disciplinary design of the new building was carried out on a BIM platform and envisages two main functional areas: the first with a steel structure, to house the simulator and arranged for the assembly of a 5 ton overhead crane; the second will house the auxiliary rooms serving the simulator.
Incide will also take care of the executive phases such as Works Management and Safety Coordination during execution.
