The restoration of Palazzo Roccabonella
When innovation means going back to the origins of living

Our country is rich in historic buildings: but how can the authentic preservation of their origins be combined with restoration and adaptation for contemporary use?
It is possible and it is achieved when innovation aspires to return to the origins of living, listening to historical buildings and their peculiarities with the most effective technologies.
Today we take you on a journey to discover the renovation of Palazzo Roccabonella, a historic complex in the centre of Padua, through exclusive interviews, videos and in-depth analysis.
One of the driving values of success is the courage to accept challenges and question oneself with new stimuli.
It was in 2019 when Carron SpA proposed to Incide Engineering to be part of the design of Palazzo Roccabonella.
The proposal was enthusiastically accepted and Incide offered its knowledge of various tools, from laser scanner survey to BIM and augmented reality, to better coordinate the plant and structural design and all the disciplines involved.
This marked the start of the collaboration with architect Albano Salmaso, a master of architecture who had been responsible for the design of the restoration of Palazzo Roccabonella since 2012.

The redevelopment of the historic Palazzo was completed thanks to Immobiliare Metroquadro Home Advisor through the General Management service dedicated to the tailor-made design and strategic management of large-scale property renovation and redevelopment operations in historic centres.

Once the team had been finalised, the common objective was to make the building ideal for contemporary use, with particular attention to the holistic wellbeing of people, to give the city of Padua residences of the highest level, in which history lives on.
