An architectural and interiors project to give a new image to the atrium of the building in Via Puccini, headquarters of Leonardo global solutions S.p.a. in Genoa.
The project involved the installation into the building's atrium of two false ceiling "sails" at an angle and at different heights, with integrated new LED lighting systems. The shafts of light were designed to obtain diffused lighting as well as helping to make the entrance more welcoming and bright.
The exposed concrete surfaces were treated with products based on dove gray coloured siloxane paints to revitalize the colour of the material and to protect it from the aging effect.
The project also included a glass door framed by a cantilevered metal structure with the Leonardo logo silk-screened to close the entrance hall to the Auditorium.
