SantExpo 2026: Innovation for building the future of Healthcare

santexpo 2026 parigi

The healthcare sector is transforming at an unprecedented pace, and the infrastructure that supports it must keep up. Incide Engineering attended SantExpo for the second consecutive year—Europe’s leading event for the healthcare ecosystem—held from May 19 to 21 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles.

Three days of direct dialogue for professionals involved in the design of public facilities and services.

The theme of the 2026 edition: excellence and access to care

SantExpo 2026 was organized around the theme “Excellence in Health: A Commitment to All Generations,” with a specific focus on strategies for integrating Artificial Intelligence as the cornerstone of the digital transformation of the French healthcare system, and on equitable access to care.

More than 35,000 attendees, 700 exhibitors, and over 230 presentations spread across 9 thematic forums created an extraordinarily rich landscape.

Metal fabrication and structures for public buildings fit naturally into this scenario: every hospital, healthcare facility, and research center of the future requires engineering solutions that match its architectural ambitions.

Incide as a strategic partner for structural design

At SantExpo, the Incide delegation—comprising CEO Gianluca Vallerini, Sales Director Tommaso Riccoboni, and Head of Development for France Carlo Ferrandi—presented itself as a specialist partner for the design of complex structural steelwork.

The response from the architecture and engineering firms they met was immediate: technical expertise, combined with the adoption of advanced BIM, established Incide as a highly competent partner for international-scale projects.

The use of BIM will undoubtedly drive process development toward resource optimization and improved project performance, with a particular focus on the need to understand the construction process.

What made the difference again this year was the presentation of concrete projects. The work developed for ArcelorMittal—masonry and reinforced concrete structures with reinforcement and construction details entirely modeled in advanced BIM—impressed with its surgical precision and the level of detail provided to the builder.

It is precisely this ability to provide in-depth knowledge of the built environment, while optimizing resources and project performance, that sets Incide apart.

The French market is known for its high expectations of external partners. SantExpo provided an opportunity to strengthen existing relationships and forge new ones, in an environment where the quality of technical dialogue is immediately apparent. Il nome Incide Engineering si afferma con continuità come sinonimo di valore aggiunto — sia nella fase di ideazione che in quella esecutiva.

Engaging with such a diverse audience—institutions, architectural firms, contractors, and startups—is the key to fostering the strongest partnerships, those built on expertise and a shared vision of the built environment.

See you in 2027, with new projects and new structural challenges to share.
