New BIM certifications – UNI 11337-7:2018

In tender processes and complex projects, digital skills are now a strategic requirement and a hallmark for engineering companies. In relation to the regulatory obligation to use BIM methodology in public procurement, even for small contracts, there are certifications that allow companies to participate in large public procurement contracts and construction works, as well as inclusion in the appropriate Public Registers of Certified Professionals.

Incide Engineering has been integrating BIM (Building Information Modelling) methodology into every stage of the design process for many years, as a daily tool for coordination, efficiency and quality.

Today, this commitment is consolidated in a further step forward: five professionals from the Incide team, including three women, obtained BIM certification according to the UNI 11337-7:2018 standard, issued by ICMQ, which guarantees professionals in the design sector international recognition valid for certifying their skills and knowledge in the field of BIM.

  • Eva Azzalin: BIM Coordinator UNI 11337-7:2018
  • Silvia Vason: BIM Coordinator UNI 11337-7:2018
  • Ilaria Zoccarato: BIM Coordinator UNI 11337-7:2018
  • Karim Azzouz: BIM Manager UNI 11337-7:2018
  • Simone Giangiulio: BIM Specialist UNI 11337-7:2018

This result demonstrates the strength of the company’s digital approach and its commitment to offering customers certified, recognised and measurable skills.

But this achievement also represents something more: confirmation of a corporate culture that invests in talent and personal growth, actively promoting the development of women’s skills in technical and digital roles.

This commitment is consistent with the gender equality certification that Incide has achieved and renews every year as an integral part of its vision of responsible and inclusive innovation.

The road to full gender equality is still an uphill struggle, especially in the world of engineering, despite the growing competence and motivation of Italian female professionals. In this context, promoting a truly inclusive corporate culture is both an ethical duty and a decisive step forward for the evolution of the sector.
