Capodichino airport motors area

Design of a pitch for testing aircraft engines up to Large Body size, surrounded by 20m high noise barriers. The purpose of this system is to reduce noise pollution in the area around the Naples airport during engine testing.
The area is made up of profiled frames and hot-dip galvanized steel pipes anchored to a reverse beam foundation structure. The heavy-duty sound-absorbing panels are anchored to the load-bearing structure, and 3 flow deviators are arranged internally. The construction also has water collection channels, control cabin, security doors, lighting system, crown lights. The project was carried out in a seismic area.
