Mobile hangar structure

Incide designed a 534 m2 metal structure building, with the following dimensions: 26x17xH19.3m, built adjacent to an existing aircraft maintenance Hangar at Marco Polo airport in Tessera, Venice. The new hangar was equipped with a handling system on air cushions to allow it to be moved to an adjacent area, in order to allow access for Boeing 767 type aircraft. When it is leaning against the building, it is possible to obtain a single large hangar suitable for the recovery and maintenance of aircraft; it was an expansion project with related plant and structural adjustments.
