The France 3 television channel documented the construction site phases of the CO’Met multi-purpose centre in Orléans for which Incide developed the executive structural design and assembly phases of the Parc des Exposition metalwork.
The video promoted by the Centre Val de Loire regional network, of which Orléans is the capital, focuses on the installation and laying of the steel structures of the various buildings in the complex. The Parc des Exposition building, the main subject of the video, is currently the only one finalised and was produced in Italy by Giugliano Costruzioni Metalliche S.r.l. for which Incide Engineering verified and calculated the main and secondary structures and the assembly methodology including the transitional phases, as well as providing engineering support during the construction site.
In the international context of this project, Incide performed direct coordination with the works contractor Bouygues Bâtiment Centre Sud-Ouest and the bureau de controle Socotec-Paris, being an active part of the design validation process.
