Incide Engineering was entrusted with the Technical-Economic Feasibility, Definitive and Executive design, including the Safety and Coordination Plan, for the construction of the new APP Radar Tower and annexed building for the control room and technical rooms at the Genoa A.C..
The entire civil and plant engineering works planned provided for an investment of over 2 million Euro, excluding the Radar antenna.
The intervention, in the Air Side area, provided for the architectural, structural and plant design of both the 28.40 m high radar tower (maximum height for lightning protection), including the elevator, and the auxiliary building in reinforced concrete covered with an external coat and housing an 'all black' type photovoltaic system, to avoid possible glare to the pilots.
